Key Projects

Dhapewada Lift Irrigation Project

The Dhapewada Lift Irrigation Project, located near Kawalewada village in Tiroda Taluka of Gondia District, Maharashtra, involves the construction of a concrete dam across the Wainganga River, along with pump houses, mains, canals, and the renovation of existing irrigation systems.

The project aims to irrigate 103,825 hectares, utilizing 327 Mm³ of water from the Wainganga River and 363 Mm³ from irrigation tanks in the command area. We have been tasked with the command area survey, planning, design, and drawings for Stage II of the Dhapewada Lift Irrigation Scheme. To date, we have completed the survey of 112,578 hectares, identifying the alignments for a 208 km rising main and 421 km of canal network.

These surveys were conducted using modern technologies such as satellite imaging and total station equipment. We have also designed 239 canal regulatory and cross-drainage structures, adhering to government guidelines. In addition, we have surveyed existing minor irrigation tanks in the command area, revising the alignment of existing canals and improving the design of the canal distribution network using modern design techniques down to the field level.

Mokhabardi Lift Irrigation Scheme

Located near Kinhala village in Bhiwapur Taluka of Nagpur District, Maharashtra, this project lifts water from the Gosikhurd Project on the Wainganga River.

We have been entrusted with constructing the Metepar, Nawtala, and Chikhlapar branch canals, including the necessary structures along these canals. In the execution of the Nawtala Branch canal, we successfully tackled a challenging 2 km section through deep cutting. We employed the cut-and-cover method, using a reinforced cement concrete (RCC) box structure to minimize extensive excavation. Modern construction techniques, such as batching plants, transit mixers, and concrete chutes, were used to ensure efficiency and precision.

Polavaram Project

Situated near Polavaram village in Andhra Pradesh, the Polavaram Project is a multipurpose irrigation scheme designed to serve the upland areas of Vishakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, and Krishna districts.

In addition to providing irrigation, the project supplies drinking water to Vishakhapatnam and surrounding areas, generates hydropower, and offers navigation facilities. It also diverts 2.47 TMC of water from the Godavari to the Krishna Basin. We have been awarded the Project Management Consultancy services by WAPCOS.

As part of this prestigious project, we oversees the construction of key components, including the 54-meter-high spillway, a 1,128-meter spill channel, and 48 radial gates measuring 16 m x 20 m. We manage daily progress, quality control, billing, and supervision of all construction activities under the guidance of WAPCOS, a public sector unit of the Ministry of Water Resources. This vital project is regarded as the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh, offering essential water resources and energy to the state.

Kaleswaram Project

The Kaleswaram Project is a prestigious and ambitious initiative by the Telangana State, aimed at irrigating 738,851 hectares across the districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, Medak, Nalgonda, and Rangareddy. The project involves the construction of three key barrages on the Godavari River:

a) Medigadda Barrage near Kaleswaram

b) Annaram Barrage downstream of the confluence of the Manair and Godavari rivers

c) Sundilla Barrage downstream of Yellampally Barrage

We are proud to contribute its technical expertise and capabilities to all components of the project. The site office is equipped with a Quality Control Laboratory to ensure precise testing for earthwork and embankments.

Ghodazari Project

Located near Ghodazari in Nagbhid Taluka, Chandrapur District, Maharashtra, this project involves the construction of earthwork and structures for the Ghodazari Sub-Branch No. 1. The work includes the construction of an aqueduct, which is a technically challenging task. We successfully completed the aqueduct using modern techniques and steel formwork for precision.
